These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SaaS service "Mierumu" ("Service") provided by Sounds fun Inc. (trade name: Kowakura Digi Lab, "Company"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Article 1 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the real-time screen sharing SaaS "Mierumu (ScreenGrid)" provided by the Company.
- "User" means any individual or legal entity who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "Instructor Account" means an account that can create and manage rooms and monitor student screens.
- "Student Account" means an anonymous account that joins a room using a PIN code and shares their screen.
- "Content" means screenshots and other data uploaded, sent, or received through the Service.
Article 2 (Applicability)
- These Terms apply to all aspects of the relationship between the User and the Company regarding use of the Service.
- Guidelines and policies posted by the Company on the Service or its website constitute part of these Terms.
- In the event of any conflict between these Terms and such guidelines, these Terms shall prevail.
Article 3 (Account Registration)
- When registering an Instructor Account, you must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent before using the Service.
- Users must keep their account credentials strictly confidential and may not transfer or lend them to any third party.
- The Company shall not be liable for any damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.
Article 4 (Fees & Payment)
- The Service is offered under the following plans:
- LITE plan: Free (¥0)
- TUTOR plan: ¥1,100/month (tax included)
- CLASS plan: ¥3,300/month (tax included)
- SCHOOL plan: ¥6,600/month (tax included)
- Key feature limits by plan are as follows:

- Plan features become available immediately upon successful payment.
- The Company may revise fees due to tax rate changes or other circumstances, with at least 30 days' prior notice to Users.
Article 5 (Cancellation & Plan Changes)
- Paid plans may be cancelled at any time via the dashboard or by email.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the cancellation month; no charges will occur from the following month. You may continue using the Service until the end of the cancellation month.
- No pro-rated refunds are provided for mid-month cancellations or downgrades. For billing errors, please contact us.
- Plan upgrades take effect immediately.
Article 6 (Account Expiration)
- If a User on the free LITE plan has not used the Service for 90 consecutive days since their last login, the Company may delete the account and its associated data without prior notice.
- The Company shall not be liable for any damage to Users arising from such deletion.
Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not engage in any of the following:
- Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Acts that infringe the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties
- Acts that invade the privacy of or defame the Company or third parties
- Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Service (e.g., unauthorized access, placing excessive load)
- Acts of obtaining or using another User's account information without authorization
- Acts of distributing or sharing illegal or harmful content through the Service
- Reverse engineering, disassembling, decompiling, or otherwise analyzing the Service
- Re-providing or reselling the Service to third parties for commercial purposes
- Any other conduct deemed inappropriate by the Company
Article 8 (Handling of Content)
- Copyright in Content transmitted or received through the Service belongs to the User or the respective rights holder.
- The Company may process Content technically solely for the purposes of providing, improving, and quality-assuring the Service.
- Users are responsible for ensuring that Content shared through the Service does not infringe the rights of third parties.
Article 9 (Service Changes & Suspension)
- The Company may modify the Service or discontinue certain features without prior notice to Users.
- The Company may temporarily suspend or terminate the Service in the following cases:
- System maintenance or updates
- Natural disasters, power outages, communication failures, or other force majeure events
- Any other case deemed necessary by the Company
- The Company shall not be liable for any damage to Users arising from such suspension or termination.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
- The Company makes no warranty that the Service is fit for any particular purpose, that it meets the User's expectations for functionality, commercial value, accuracy, or utility, or that it will be free from defects.
- The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users in connection with the Service, except in cases of the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Even where the Company bears liability for damages, such liability shall be capped at the amount of fees received from the applicable User during the month in which the damage occurred.
- As the Service depends on internet connectivity, service quality may vary depending on network conditions.
Article 11 (Personal Information)
The Company will handle Users' personal information collected in connection with the Service in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy.
Article 12 (Amendments to Terms)
- The Company may amend these Terms when deemed necessary.
- Material changes will be communicated to Users in advance via notice on the Service or to registered email addresses.
- If you do not agree to the amended Terms, please discontinue use of the Service. Continued use after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 13 (System Requirements)
- The Service is provided on the premise of the following system requirements.
- Requirements for the student side (screen sharing function):
- Supported OS: A computer running Windows, macOS, or ChromeOS
- Supported browsers: Google Chrome (latest version recommended), Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox
- Smartphones and tablets (including iOS and Android) are not supported, as the screen sharing function is unavailable due to OS-level restrictions.
- Requirements for the instructor side (monitoring function):
- Supported OS: A computer running Windows, macOS, or ChromeOS (recommended)
- Supported browsers: Google Chrome (latest version recommended), Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox
- Viewing on smartphones and tablets is possible, but the layout is optimized for computers and some features may be difficult to use on mobile devices.
- The Company makes no warranty regarding the operation of the Service in environments that do not meet the above requirements.
Article 14 (Governing Law & Jurisdiction)
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
- Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court as the court of first instance.
